Surfschool of Audierne bay

4.6.1 surfschool

With more than 20 years of practice on the different spots of Cap Sizun, your instructor knows the different spots by heart! Travelling to the 4 corners of the world (Spain, Italy, Ireland, Portugal, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Mexico) has allowed him to be confronted with different waves.

After a professional career in marketing, the desire to transmit his passion was at the origin of the school 4.6.1 Surfing. Having learned to surf the spots of Cap Sizun, Vincent now wishes to teach on the different spots of the bay of Audierne that he knows so well.

The name of the school 4.6.1 is a play on words with the Cap (4) Sizun (6 1) area where the school is located.

The courses take place from Easter to All Saints’ Day holidays. In order to benefit from the best possible conditions and to optimize the quality of surfing, the courses can be given all over the bay of Audierne (Plovan, Penhors, Mesperleuc, Gwendrez, la baie des Trépassés…).

From the beginning of July to the end of August, the courses take place on the beach of Gwendrez in Plouhinec or Stang ar Liou in Plovan depending on the weather conditions.

The courses last 2 hours, in groups of 8 people maximum per instructor. They are given in French, English and Spanish.

Possibility of private lessons in low season.

Teaching is provided by experienced and qualified instructors, trained in first aid.
